Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Description:

Performs Risk Management Framework (RMF) package development on Navy information systems as part of the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. Applies the principles of the CIA triad to meet Navy cybersecurity requirements through NIST 800-53 control implementation and testing. Performs risk assessment and vulnerability scans on multiple operating environments in various configurations. Mitigate vulnerabilities and manage their remediation through the use of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Provides evidence through policy and/or test results to demonstrate compliance to Navy guidelines and security control implementation to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO) approvals on Navy information systems. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Installation, configuration, scanning methods and builds.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS). RMF package development experience is a requirement. Developing artifacts, control implementation and assessment across different operating environments.
• In-depth knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Navy testing guidance, and NIST 800-53 controls
• Experience with installing, administering, troubleshooting, and configuring Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy environment
• Knowledge of DoD information systems, DoD infrastructure and NIST security guidelines
• Active Secret clearance
• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Navy command structure, policies, shipboard and shore-based information systems
• Navy Qualified Validator Level II

Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Description:

Manages the Risk Management Framework (RMF) package development processes for multiple Navy information systems as part of the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. Applies the principles of the CIA triad to meet Navy cybersecurity requirements through NIST 800-53 control implementation and testing. Possesses an expert level of understanding of the RMF authorization process to support technical engineers and program managers in various computing environments. Performs risk assessment and vulnerability scans on multiple computing environments and various configurations. Tracks and manages the system authorizations of multiple systems while providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) support throughout the system’s authorization lifecycle. Provides detailed guidance on Navy testing principles, artifact development, documentation and control assessment for Navy information systems. Mitigates vulnerabilities and manages their remediation through the use of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Performs validation on Navy RMF packages, to include verification of testing, control application and risk mitigation. Provides evidence through policy and/or test results to demonstrate compliance to Navy guidelines and security control implementation to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO) approvals on Navy information systems. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience working with various computing environments (Windows, Linux, etc.) and technologies (WiFi, networking, software, etc.)
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Installation, configuration, scanning methods and report generation.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS). RMF package development experience is a requirement. Developing artifacts, control implementation and assessment across different operating environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of the RMF Process Guide 3.1, Navy Testing Guidance, DISN Connection Process Guide
• Knowledge of DoD information systems, DoD infrastructure and NIST security guidelines
• Active Secret clearance
• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• ISC2 CISSP Certification
• Experience with Navy command structure, policies, shipboard and shore-based information systems
• Navy Qualified Validator Level II
